Nancy Braches Nancy opened her studio in 2006 after relocating from Long Island to Maine, NY. Nancy & her family are all potters and together run Hilltop Pottery. We are functional potters who experiment in different glaze combinations and textures in clay. Pieces should be pretty as well as functional is Nancy's motto. We teach several small classes each week to share the clay experience in a peaceful, warm environment. While not selling pottery from the studio, we do 15 shows per year from Oswego down through Binghamton, NY; our schedule and some additional work can be seen on our website. |

Denise Dowdall
Denise has worked in clay for several years and recently expanded to work in warm glass. In clay, Denise prefers hand building, while experimenting in glass-mold making introduced her to the world of fused glass, “I was immediately hooked by the vibrant colors and the interplay of light on glass.” In both mediums, Denise’s style is asymmetrical, abstract and textural. Denise primarily makes functional pieces in clay and glass, as well as unusual glass fusion jewelry. |

Cheri Haring My forms are borne from my desire to see as well as feel movement in clay. In them I see the strength and fluidity of material and process, a reflection of ourselves and life. I’ve been fortunate to participate in apprenticeship, workshops and intensive programs both in the United States and Japan. I’ve recently relocated to Auburn from Florida, and have become a founding member of Skaneateles Artisans.
